Occupational Therapist

The Department of Rehab Medicine seeks a full time Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team. Be a part of a robust rehab team in a leading healthcare facility, and assist patients in developing, improving, and recovering the necessary skills needed to perform their daily activities after surgery, illness, or injury. We are serious about our work and also enjoy a collaborative, supportive and fun environment that values the patient experience.  The position serves pediatrics to geriatrics and supports numerous service lines. Prior hospital experience is preferred, but all are encouraged to apply.

The position is full time and benefitted. Hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday to Friday, rotating weekends and holidays. However, we encourage you to apply even if you are looking for an alternative schedule as we have historically been able to accommodate a variety of schedules and hours.  Shift differentials are available for weekend, and certain holidays. 1. Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members.
2. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching. Document progression towards goal achievement with appropriate billing for services provided.
3. Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, team huddles, etc
4. Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping.
5. Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.
6. Delegates tasks to support personnel.
7. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required

• New Hampshire licensure required
• BLS certification required
